  • How to open an account for another Business

I want to open an extra account for a new business I'm starting. However, when I tap on the lightning bolt icon in the app, and tap "Zakelijke rekening" ("Business account") under Business, nothing happens. No error message either, simply nothing happens.

I'm currently using bunq for my own business and I'd like to have my new business on bunq as well.

    To open a new Business account for a different entity you must first switch to your Personal account and then Home > ⚡️> Business account.

    Switching accounts is possible by long pressing Profile in the bottom row. In case your current Personal and Business accounts are merged they must first be unmerged.

        I think that's the fastest option yes. If you don't intend to use the personal account I suggest switching it to the free Travel membership under Profile > ⚙️ > My membership after creation.

          That seems to have worked, thank you. You might want to consider adding a message to the app or a link to some kind of support article because the way it is now was a confusing experience for me.

            @Stichting-50-tinten-groen-Assendorp-Teal-Tiger#238031 Could you clarify what you are looking for a fix for? The thread you're commenting on is almost 2 years old, the app works a lot differently now and it shouldn't be an issue to open multiple business accounts. There's not even a need to switch between them anymore, all of them will automatically show in your Home tab.
