Hi Francescoπ
You can find all info here:
https://together.bunq.com/d/1511-what-is-bunqs-bank-identifier-code-bic-or-swift
It would be extremely useful if this information would be available in the app instead of hidden in a together post which you can expect nobody to be able to find on their own.
@Dennis#30990 There is a search function in Together, when you type in BIC it comes right upπ
@Tim#30991 Ok, in that case no reason to put it in the app, for example next to your IBAN number, or any other useful place where people might look.
I'm just saying this, because there are countless posts about it on Together where people ask what the swift/bic code is.
@Dennis#30992 π
People ask for a lot of things on Together, some of them are really obvious and even already in the app π Maybe the search function needs some more spotlight in mailings for new users. Always a helpful co-bunqer to help out though.
But to stay on-topic. Maybe create a new suggestion/topic for adding the BIC somewhere in the app on a easy to find/understand spot and people can vote π for it
@Tim#30993 People are still voting for "Wishes" that are a year and a half old. It's just bunq's way of pretending user feedback gets taken serious. I also don't think bunq follow the forum anymore anyway, after hiring moderators to reply to all the new topics.
Anyway, sure. I suggest that BIC code gets added to the app. @bunq, please turn this post into a wish, and let other people vote for it, to see what other bunqers think of the idea.
@Dennis#30994 I have seen a lot of wishes being implemented, it's understandable not every "wish" can be implemented. Hence the word wish. I do agree bunq is a little to invisible lately but don't doubt they still read along with us. π
@Dennis#30994 bunq still reads along. I can hear my colleagues from Product discussing some of the things that I read on Together. I think the moderators are merely there to reduce the workload a bit for the support employees. Moderation takes quite some time. π
I don't know if you guys have heard about Tomorrow Bank, which is a German startup that is soon to offer a "sustainable bank account".
What I really like about them is their openness. They have a public Trello board where they show what is currently being developed and what's on the roadmap: https://trello.com/b/TJ2OBM89/tomorrow-maschinenraum
I think having something like this for bunq would be really awesome. And it would be an easy way to show people what's being currently worked on (fixing 3D Secure, app features, etc.)
@Sander#30996 Yes of course. But officially, bunq can now get away with ignoring all new posts, because they gave Together to the community. But maybe it's for the better, if it means you can dedicate more resources to improving your products.
@Roeshimi#31007 I think this is an amazing idea. But I don't think it'll ever happen. bunq brands themselves as transparent, but at the same time they "love surprises". We'll never know what they are and are not working on.
@Dennis#31013 This "keeping-secret"-thing might work for Apple, but I don't know if it fits for bunq.
@Roeshimi#31017 Me neither. But it's been suggested a bunch of times and always turned down with the same arguments. They love surprises.
@Dennis#31011 Even though Together is now more community driven, I can assure you that it is not being ignored π.
I think it's great to see bunqers getting involved and helping one another. If anything, this new community initiative gives us more time to reference all of your ideas and suggestions! As you all have noted, we love surprises π and we continuously take your posts and comments into account.
So keep sharing, know that we're listening, and thanks for the feedback!
Feel free to open a new topic with any further suggestions/ideas and let's keep this thread about finding the BIC/SWIFT code π.
