  • VOWA Iban not accepted

Hi all. Anyone had issues with Volkswagen bank? I am entering an Iban that is correct but app keeps saying its not valid and I can't transfer? Thanks. Kevin.

    @Kevin-Indigo-Dolphin#31161 What do you mean by Volkswagen bank? As far as I know Volkswagen is and has no bank.

      @Kevin-Indigo-Dolphin#31161 Maybe the transaction form requires IBANs of a certain length. German IBANs are longer than those from bunq.
      Sounds a bit like it only accepts DE-IBANs

        For the main question, I suggest contacting Private Support to let them see why the IBAN isn't recognized and how to do the transfer otherwise.
        I remember a topic about some IBAN'S of the less known non-public banks that weren't recognized even though they were correct.

          @Kevin-Indigo-Dolphin#31161 Do you mean transferring money from Volkswagen bank to bunq or from bunq to Volkswagen bank?
          If you're trying to transfer money TO the Volkswagen bank, you could contact bunq private matters. Click on your profile picture and click on private matters.
          If you're trying to transfer money FROM Volkswagen bank, then maybe they are still using an old system. You should contact Volkswagen bank.

            Maybe it's a case of "IBAN discrimination" (not allowed in the EU), and only German IBANs are allowed?
