Hi EveryoneπŸ‘‹

In daily life using bunq I sometimes find things I would like to see improved, and this is one of themπŸ™‚

Best example is probably when my girlfriend makes an iDEAL-payment from a shared account and I get a notification saying "accepted a request". This is kind off confusing because it was an iDEAL payment and not a Request. πŸ™„

Therefore I would like to see more specific / detailed push notifications.

A couple ideas:
- Show who initiated the transaction (for connect/Joint) Related Topic
- More types of transaction (iDEAL/card/Direct Debit etc..
- Accountname on which the transaction is processed
- Company name & Amount on recurring Direct Debits

A little mockup for an iDEAL-payment:

You know what to do if you agree, smack that high five button below. πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

And let me know what you think and share your ideas/improvements. πŸ˜‰

    The iDeal push is not wrong tho, iDeal uses the Request mechanism in the end to approve or reject the transaction. 😬 Anyway, I agree that some could be more specific. πŸ™Œ

      @Tim#31289 Hi Tim πŸ‘‹,

      Thanks for sharing your idea πŸ’‘. I fully agree with you that push notification πŸ”” can be more clear! πŸ‘. Especially for activities done by a Connect user. So big High Five πŸ™Œ on that!

      And you made some cool 😎 mock-up.... and a see some good use of my name 🐢 πŸ‘πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‚..

      Have a great day Tim πŸ‘Œ

        @Sander#31296
        I thought something like that would be the case, but indeed a minor tweak in the displayed text makes it all very clearπŸ™‚

        @JohnDo#31300
        Thanks yet again JohnπŸ˜‰ I was thinking of a random bunq related name and only one can pop up that quickly.πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

          @Tim looks great πŸ˜ƒ

            I have also wondered why on Direct Debits, the initial request includes the name of the company, e.g. "XS4ALL sent you a request for €45,00", but subsequent auto-accepts or failures just say "A direct debit for €45 was automatically accepted" or "A direct debit for €45 could not be automatically accepted", leaving you to sort of guess by the amount what the company in question might be until you open the app to look... πŸ€”

              This is indeed another notification that could use some tweaking. Let's hope they will improve these too ☺️

                    @MitchellvB995#53706 I want to chime in too, a direct debit for Amazon Prime shouldn't be called a β€œRequest” in Dutch but incasso:

                      @MitchellvB995#53713 yes indeed!

                        @DaveFlash#53712 this is because internally an incasso is processed as a Request. So technically, this notification is completely correct. However, I agree that in terms of clarity it is now not immediately clear that this concerns a Direct Debit (πŸ‡³πŸ‡± "incasso"). The phrasing could be better, but as it is converted into an actual Request it is not really wrong either. 😁

                          @Sander#53743 In the event overview this isn't shown as a request so it makes no sense the push notifications calls it a request. If it is technically a request then the event overview should also call it a request.

                          Right now bunq is calling the same thing something different in separate texts. That's just confusing.
