  • Google pay doesn't work at some terminals

I got Google Pay (NL) yesterday, and when paying for a loaf of bread at the bakery, it didn't work. I got the not very desvriptive error "Er gaat iets mis".
When buying coffee at another store, it worked fine.
My bakery has a Verifone vx820 terminal.
I was looking for some place to report this, but cannot find it, so I'll post it here.

    You've added a Maestro or Mastercard to Google Pay?
    A lot of shops/supermarkets in The Netherlands don't accept Mastercard, only Maestro and V-Pay.

      Ooh, that might be it! I made an online card, doesn't really say anywhere what type that is but I guess it might be not maestro? I'll try another card!

        @Joost-Red-Frog#206626 Online cards are all Mastercards. Most online shops don't accept Maestro cards. For real shops in the Netherlands and Belgium, it's often the other way around.
