• Card Skimming

Hey @Luke-Cyan-Owl#32357 👋
that's indeed a good question. A bunch of people use those wallets because they are afraid of that scenario, but I personally don't know any case in my surrounding, where fraudulent transactions were made via NFC. 🤔 But lets see, maybe one of us has a different story to tell.

    @JanBrodda#32360 Yes I looked at Secrid’s site on this and couldn’t find more evidence about the problem their product solves.

      @Luke-Cyan-Owl#32357 Hi Luke,
      I have a beautiful Secrid wallet . Not to protect me from skimming, but because its a practical wallet 👌. And of course my bunq 💳 only deserves the best.

      I agree with the article. Whoever slim the chance, RFID skimming can be done. But the chance that I win the lottery is bigger :)... So, for me RFID skimming 💳 is the last thing on my mind 🧠.

      But let's say you will ran into this scenario... then there is also a fun liability discussion that will emerge, making is even moreeee slim that you will everrr loose money 💸 over it.

      To sum it up, we can all sleep peacefully 😴👍

        @JohnDo#32363 Yes aesthetically the Secrid products look sharp👌

        I have a lovely cardholder from Thamon 🌱 but without any RFID protection. Seems for now that is not a problem...

          @JohnDo#32363 Agree. My Secrid is just compact and practical, I’m not afraid of skimming.
