Revolut have a feature where you can put money away in a "pocket" after pay day so you'll have money left when the bill comes in.
Eg take €200 and put away on pay day in the electricity pocket for the bill on the 18th

@New-Turquoise-Kiwi-2928004516#212670 At bunq you can create up to 25 monetary accounts, and use them as a "pocket".
Thanks Peter. In Revolt it'll automatically take the bill or direct debit from the pocket so you don't need to keep moving it in and out of the main account.
I wish Bunq would show upcoming direct debits under your main account so you could see it coming. Eg greyed out and tomorrow's date

But here you can also do the same? Either tell the merchant the corresponding IBAN of the sub-account or just change the sub-account in the settings for accepted direct debits or when you manually accept them. There should never be a need to move money to your "main" sub-account (such a thing doesn't exist at bunq, but of course you can treat one as such).
bunq can not show upcoming direct debits because as soon as they get the direct debit from the merchant they will immediately give you the option to pay it without waiting for no reason like other banks. That's also part of the reason why you have a 5 day window to accept/deny a direct debit at bunq.
