Massinterest never made sense. No one ever asked for it, it created problems for people and businesses and it wasn't really interest.
It is a sort of discount for 'heavy users', which is perfectly fine on its own. However, bunq insists on being different from other banks and tries to pass it off as interest which creates expectations that it obviously cannit deliver on.
Why must bunq always be revolutionary? The trees, the interest, the social. The app is a cluttered dumpster fire that is a horror to navigate. Please, update 17: Marie Kondo.
