• Mastercard Identity Check

Hey folks,
Today I had trouble paying online with my virtual Mastercard. In two German shops I couldn't pay by card. Both times I was led to an external site by Mastercard for the payment. Both times my card got declined with the comment it is blocked.
After a bit of research I found there is a thing called Identity Check by Mastercard, that is supposed to make online shopping safer.
Apparently one must first register for one's Mastercard. But I can't find anything by searching the knowledge base.
Am I on the right track here? Does anybody know something I missed? Or am I just lost with paying online in Germany right now?

    Hi,
    I am encountering the same issue. In one instance I switch to another online card from bunq and it worked. So I am confused on what do I need to do to make all my cards work with this feature. I would be happy to delete the card and create a new one, but I can't find how to do that from the app. And this a payment of 150 EUR, is not even that much.

        Wie habt ihr das gelöst. Bei mir funktioniert bei EBay Zahlungen seit heute gar keine Karte mehr

Den findest du, indem du auf den [Profil]-Tab > [Menu] 🌈 > [Privater Support] gehst.

                Yes i did but seems that dev are trying to fix since months, this is a big issue for bunq users

                  @Diego-Yellow-Jaguar#222369 bunq is well aware of this. If you can supply more detailed information, best way is to open a Support ticket whenever you're having issues.
