• New bunq release notes 🌈 - 7.12.0

Hi everyone 👋

I’m Tom, one of the Product people at bunq. Thanks for reporting a bug last week with our release notes, it seems they didn’t contain any changes 🤔.

Rest assured we’ve fixed that, and you’ll now know what’s going on in the app! 🙌


In case you missed them, here are the release notes for iOS and Android 7.12.0.


What’s new:

🌈 See your account balance in the Pay and Request screens, so you are always up-to-date.

🌈 You now have full control over in-app notification sounds. Turn them on and off whenever you want.

🙌 As always, we included many small improvements to make your experience even better.

(note: on iOS those features shipped in 7.11.0. We just wanted to make sure everyone knew about them) 😃

    I’m still experiencing a problem that I have a notification on my homescreen but when I open the app there I can’t find it.

      Annoying but absolutely 100% unrelated to release notes.


      As for the release notes with actual changes in them: 👍

        "full control" is not what I would have written. Happy that I can now mute some notifications. But what about the control I want... Changing the sound to whatever I want. That "full control" :)

                Time to give a compliment: I‘m more on together these days than on any other social media 😀 and I have to say you guys are doing a great job listening to your community.. people were unhappy with the sound.. you give the opportunity to turn it off.. people wanted to see the account balance.. you make it.. great to see that!

                    Aweosme! I would really prefer an addition to control notifications per account/IBAN though. Having many different accounts really makes notifications disturbing, while I only care about real-time notifications on my main account.
