To edit our Favorites we have to first create a new transaction, enter an amount and only then can change the favorites or lookup their details. A bit too much for something so simple.

By adding Favorites to the Profile menu, along with settings and limits, you can quickly access all those contacts. From there you can swipe to delete, add new favorites from your phone contacts, tap a row to get a quick overview with:

  • name
  • bunq or bank avatar
  • IBAN
  • contact buttons if SMS or email was used (or chat?)
  • recent transactions or button to deepsearch

    And of course Request and Payment buttons 😊

      Hey @Xander#33955 πŸ‘‹

      Thanks for your suggestion. I agree that the management of favourites can use some work, making it accessible through the profile section would be a great first step. So take my high-five!

      If this could be implemented alongside better editing tools, that would be perfect πŸ‘Œ
      Let's see how other bunqers think about this!

      Have a nice day! 🌈

        Thinking more about this, a Favorites section could be integrated with other areas too. When you are viewing a transaction and tap the sender or recipient the app could show you the same Contact-summary view with the same interaction buttons and recent transactions.

          @Xander#33955

          πŸ™Œ + for a full customizable address book.

          I would also like to see a link to this after Pay/Choose Recipient. It could easily fit in the line of My Accounts, My Contacts and Enter IBAN. In this section it would be nice to Edit/Reorder/Delete them too.

          A couple of recents, favorites & phone contacts below the category buttons like it is now should suffice for quick access during payments

            Still waiting for a full customizable favorites / address book functionality besides the favorites in the payments section. πŸ™ƒπŸ˜Š

              @Tim#44626 It would also be great to save a default description field for a favourite. Then you don't need to enter your customer number or whatever each time you make a payment to them.

                Tim changed the title to Add Favorites/Contacts to Profile menu.

                  Yes, exactly what I am missing as well. Also, the ability to give a contract a name other than the account holders name. I have multiple bunq accounts in several logins that all have the same name on my favourite. I have to memorize the lasts IBAN digits now.

                    Zou het super handig vinden een contactenlijst/favorieten welke makkelijk bereikbaar is in de app.

                      Can we get an update on this please?

                        @Thierry-Yellow-Owl#133526 bunq doesn't give updates on what's in the making. 😁

                          Just had to change one of my favorite contacts now as TransferWise has issued belgium iban numbers instead of former accounts with handelsbanken. But this is up to now still impossible? Come on bunq I think this can’t be too hard to implement? Would love to see a proper way to edit contacts without having to re enter all details again. That would certainly fit in with you β€˜saving time’ attitude! πŸ˜‰

                            Make a post on Together, ask people to vote for it, and then wait another few years

                              @Dennis#138910

                              That's a bit negative isn't it? So many ideas have been implemented by bunq already. They only have a certain capacity and of course not everything has the same priority, which can be a bit unfortunate in some cases but bunq is rapidly checking off the wishlist. βœ…

                                @Dennis#138910 Hi πŸ‘‹πŸΌ Dennis,

                                In addition to @tim ... maybe you should take look here to discover that posting an idea πŸ’‘ISNT a waste of time and effort
