If Face ID is active but can’t be used due to a face mask, authorization fails. Taking off the mask isn’t recommended, disabling Face ID for bunq altogether shouldn’t be necessary. Please offer the option to verify ID via phone code or bunq code if Face ID recognizes a mask.

This is now possible with the latest version of the app! If FaceID fails to recognise you, you'll get the option to authorise via your bunq security code instead.
