• Change Subscription from Easy Green to Easy Travel

Hey community,

I created my bunq account to get a Travel Card. I accidentally started a trial of Easy Green and created a second virtual card because of weird UX. I ordered a physical version of one of the cards and never touched the other card.

My question is: What happens to my cards if the trial of Easy Green is over? Can I delete one card? Will I be charged extra? And what is up with the automatically created "Travel Account"? Will this account persist when the change happens? And can I set my source of money to an account at an existing bank? If not, can I move money back from the Travel Account to my bank account at the other bank?

Thanks!

What happens to my cards if the trial of Easy Green is over?

If you switch back to Easy Travel, you can only use a single Travel Card. All other cards won't be usable.

    Can I delete one card?

If you want to, you can. You can also keep them in case you ever want to upgrade to a paid plan.

    Will I be charged extra?

No. The free trial is really free. That includes ordering cards that are included in the plan. You'd only get charged if you do something that isn't included in the plan in the first place.

And what is up with the automatically created "Travel Account"?

That is just the name given to the initial sub-account created automatically, you can change it if you want. As long as you're still on Easy Green, you can also create additional sub-accounts. When you downgrade to Easy Travel, you won't be able to use multiple sub-accounts anymore and you will lose the full banking functionality like sending bank transfers or paying direct debits. But the name doesn't matter, feel free to change it.

And can I set my source of money to an account at an existing bank? If not, can I move money back from the Travel Account to my bank account at the other bank?

Even though you cannot pay bills when using Easy Travel, you can still receive payments via bank transfer and you can pay out your whole balance to another bank accounts of yours at another bank. So yes, you can move money back (of course for free!). See here for more info on that: https://together.bunq.com/d/13634-how-do-i-withdraw-money-from-my-bunq-travel-card

@Jakob-Y#219264 First of all, thank you for your answer.

How does bunq choose what card to deactivate?
