Yes, that would be VERY convenient! That's actually a default usecase I do every day and probably the most common thing I do when I use the app. That feature would reduce the amount of time I waste by 90%.
Scenario:
- I have a main account and some sub accounts for budgets
What's the usecase?
- I pay something with my main account and I need to get that amount back from a specific sub account
How is it currently done?
- I am not aware of the English phrases, but I go to the payment, select "Aufteilen" (button that's sharing the payment), select my sub account and tell it should take 100%. This creates an "Anfrage" (Request?) for the sub account. I need to confirm then that request and can't automatically confirm the request because it's my own account.
What would be a short term solution?
- Allow automatic acceptance of own requests (why not? Who can I trust more than myself?)
Best long term solution (maybe even short term :))
- This usecase is the bare reason why I switched to bunq. It's good that it's possible but way to complicated. There should be another button or option that is available when I go to a payment. It should be named "Forward to my account" and then an account can be chosen and done. No creation of a request, no anything. Just move the money between my accounts. It's so common, it should have an own functionality. It should be possible to say "Forward similar payments automatically in the future", but that would be another step.
