Regarding the changesâŠI don't so much mind the extra Euro per month, the features bunq offers are still pretty much unmatched by anyone else (I trust) and I like the idea behind bunq, so it's not only about the money for me.
However, I will concede that the messaging behind all this is a bit strange.
The actual updates do not really appear worthy the hype behind a bunq update - all this sounds more like a regular app update.
I was actually waiting yesterday for all the great new features marketing implied before (mails like "are you ready?") and pretty much all I got was a price increase. Talk about disappointment.
Also, while I rarely use cash and therefore will never run into the limit for free cash withdrawalsâŠthat price scheme reads just awful. "So you get four for free, five with some extra fee and others with some other fee" - way too complex. And all this sugarcoated with some language about making it easierâŠ
So, the app updates are nice, the price increase is (for me) not a big deal but the messaging (once again) causes needless anger and frustration.
