OGKevin Also, would be Nice to be able to use salary month instead of calandre month. Makes more sense for budgeting purposes.
@Ward any thoughts on this ? This would be really nice. I don't really care what ive spent in October, I care how much of my last salary I've spent. So from 25th to 25th.
OGKevin I wanted to do deep linking to the Bunq app, but unfortunately you guys don't have a deep link for that (hint, ;)).
This could be possible if/when certain endpoint gets made public.
OGKevin the Paypal Pathe thuis is clearly not in the right category. Would be nice, if I could click on it here and change its category
Did you understand this one ? By the look of your reply I dont think you kind of did :P. I meant, it would be nice to be able to assign categories In the top right iPhone screenshot of the app, its no possible there. its basically the same as
Marco change the category of a transaction when looking at the transactions within a category
is saying.
Délano and there it can specify keywords for categories
This is indeed the same way MoneyMoney does it and it works Bueno, however, they let the user specify a regex maybe you could do that as well. And then have a database where user can submits and download/use these custom regexes or smt. I think, you need a central way to categorise.
Maybe, you can let your server categorise the transactions and sent them to the client, and then let the client store them. So basically, all the server does is: "I think this transaction belongs to category X" and sends that in the data that it sends to the client. This way, you can teach the category prediction on server side, which would increase user experience as user does not need to manually categorise a lot of transactions.
So, now your server only works as a "tunnel", but I think it would do no harm to make it predict categories as well without storing anything regarding the transactions, just the data it needs to be better at categorising. Like keywords and stuff.
