  • Samsung Watch 4 and Google Pay BUG

When you add the Bunq debitcard to Google Pay with the link provided in the Bunq App, you can't use that card on your Samsung Watch 4 Google Pay app because it isn't visible. You have to delete the card in Google Pay and add it manually, then you can use it in on your Samsung Watch 4 with Google pay.

    @New-Olive-Marmoset-2854310988#233394 Hi there 👋

    Could you please send us a screenshot of the error message you get. Please do that in the support center in the app (Profile > ⚙️ > scroll down > Need help? Get support). Thank you 🙏

      I can add to this. I've had the same issue on my Skagen Falster 3 (Fossil).
      Added my cards using the "Add to GPay" button on the card overview in the bunq app. This works fine on my phone. But when trying to activate the Google pay app on my watch it got stuck saying "something went wrong". Same issue as described here by another Bunq user: https://support.google.com/wearos/thread/14944702/gpay-unable-to-pull-cards-from-google

      Removing the cards from Google Pay, adding the cards manually using the card number, exp date and CVC + text authentication token via the Google Pay app directly adds the card in a way that can be transferred to the watch properly. I had to do this both for Maestro and Mastercard cards otherwise they would not even show up as cards to set-up on the watch.

      Hope that helps.

        I have the same problem with my Samsung Watch4.

        My question is: Where can I find the Bunq card number (and other details) to be able to add the card manually to Google Pay?

          @New-Vermilion-Mule-2481037597#235883 From your 'Home'-tab, click your 'Cards'-tile, and click on the card you want the number from. At the top you see the last part of the card number like '•••• xxxx ' with an 'i' behind it. When you click on it, you see all the card details.

            Bedankt Peter.

              I'm having this problem as well, except that I don't get the authentication code text from bunq in the final step of manually adding the card. Anyone any ideas?

                @Amaranth-Penguin#238256 I am facing the same problem. Tried it several times, never received the text message.

                  @chr1s#284437 Bunq doesn't support Wear OS
