Maximiliaan Hi, when you click on "Pay", then it's not an internal transfer. It will go through an external payment network. In your case, it will probably just bounce back because it's the wrong currency.
To transfer between your own accounts, always use this button. It says "Convert currency" but really it's the menu to convert and transfer between internal accounts.
If you want to send to other bank accounts from a local currency account, you get the option between using the domestic payment network of that country and SWIFT. For example for USD:
At least in my bunq app, when I try to add a bunq IBAN here, it will also tell me that I shouldn't / cannot do this. Not sure if that's the same for all versions.
