What would be the best way to downgrade from a pack (having my son as only member from the pack) to a more cost friendly solution without losing the benefit of controlling my sons account? Thanks for your suggestions.

Anyone?

Your son not being in your bunq Pack will only change the way that his plan's fees are deducted. It doesn't change anything about the way your Joint account / Connects etc. work. Or what do you mean by "controlling"?
@Jakob-Y#233446 Thanks Jacob for responding, as my son is minor, I would like to keep an eye on his account. As he is the only one participating in my pack, it is a costly monthly solution. That’s why I would like to know what the “cheapest” alternative is with Bunq. Monthly fees must be deducted from my account.

If you have a Joint account or open up a Joint account with your son, your son could set it up so that his plan's fees are deducted from the Joint account.

You can find more information about the different plans available on the homepage: https://www.bunq.com/benefits The cheapest one is called "Easy Bank" and costs 2,99 Euro per month.

Being a member of someone's Pack doesn't change anything about the ability of "keeping an eye on their account". The only thing a Pack is good for is consolidating the plan fees. But you're of course right about it being a tad costly for just two people.
