When setting up your Daily Limit, you have the freedom to set separate limits for each card or to apply it to all of your cards at once! This can be done with the “Apply to all cards” toggle feature. When the toggle is turned on, the limit that you set will apply to all of your daily card expenses.
How do I change my daily card limits in the bunq App?
- Go to the 🏠 Home tab
- Choose the card which you want to change the daily limit of
- Tap on ⚙️ Settings
- Click on the limit you want to change
- Make the required adjustments and apply!

- Go to https://web.bunq.com
- Choose the card which you want to change the daily limit of

What are the daily card limits?
👀 PIN and Online Card Transactions:
- Default limit: €1,000 per day
- Maximum limit: €50,000 per day
💳 Contactless Transactions:
- €50 per transaction that doesn't require a PIN code
- €150 for cumulative transactions that don't require a PIN code (if you reach this amount or after 5 contactless payments, you just need to insert your card into the terminal and enter your PIN and the daily counter will reset. When a country is enabled in your card settings, the local contactless limit will apply.)
🏧 ATM Transactions:
Personal accounts:
- Account verified less than 3 months ago: €250 per calendar day, per person
- Account verified longer than 3 months ago: €1000 per calendar day, per person
Business accounts:
- Default limit: €1000 per day
- Maximum limit: €1000 per day
Keep in mind that the ATM may charge its own transaction fee or have its own limit (e.g., some ATMs in the Netherlands don't let you withdraw more than €250/300 per day.)
