I recently went on a business trip. I did it the bunq way and made a special account, deposited 1000 euros and coupled all my cards to said account for the duration of the trip. This way I could very simply export the account overview for my declarations and make sure I got back up to exactly 1000. It worked perfectly but for 1 thing. My MasterCard is used for some online subscriptions (Adobe, Digital Ocean etc) and they charged my MasterCard in the mean time throwing off my plan a bit. Now, I could of course get another MasterCard for online stuff but... Why would I need a physical card?
For many types of spending I would not need a physical card at all! I only need a number, a cvc and an expiration date. It would be pretty cool if bunq would offer such digital cards, perhaps there can be more than 3, or perhaps the digital one can be converted to a physical one only when needed. Right now I only need 1 Maestro and 1 MasterCard, but an additional digital MasterCard for online stuff would be handy. I know I can still order an extra MasterCard and I think I will, but wouldn't it be cool if we could get (additional?) digital-only cards?
