I booked a domestic flight in South Africa for a wedding but the wedding has been postponed/cancelled as the bride is seriously ill. As a result, I had to cancel my domestic flight as I no longer need it BUT the domestic airlines said that it will not provide me with any refund of any sort. These tickets were quite expensive and I really need the money back if I am not going to be using the tickets. I used my Bunq Credit Card to make the booking and was wondering if there is any sort of travel insurance that comes with the card that covers me in this senario?

@New-Taupe-Frog-1466922710#237498 bunq does not offer any kind of travel insurance. Of course, you're protected from fraudulent charges, but in your case it seems like these wouldn't apply.
The only form of additional insurance that bunq offers is for purchase protection and extended warranty for purchases that are made with the Metal Card. This also requires an Easy Green plan. It's not travel insurance, though. https://www.bunq.com/benefits/purchaseprotection
It won't help you with your current issue but my recommendation would be to get travel insurance from an independent third-party insurance whenever you're traveling. This is usually more cost-effective and comes with stronger protections compared to travel insurance that comes with credit cards.
