@Michael-ERL#275828 My comment is still true indeed as far as I can see. You can both get Easy Bank and you would get a Joint account and a card of your choice for each of you. Additionally you also both can open a regular private sub-account and take advantage of all the other features in the Easy Bank plan: https://together.bunq.com/d/44002

    @Jakob-Y#275841 we are still considering using bunq again. it really only gets interesting with bunq when you use more than one account.

    what i couldn't figure out from the current account models so far... if i upgrade my account to easy bank and my wife opens an easy money account, can we share only one account or can i also give her access to other subaccounts of my easy bank account?

    for example, if i set up an account for vacations, one for our free time, or individual savings sub-accounts for our children and have money automatically deposited there each month. can i share these with her as well?
    (kids are not old enough for their own "real" bank accounts yet, otherwise a bunq pack would be a consideration again).

    when we first tried bunq 2019 we didn't need a full price account each to cover these scenarios. there was one account for 9.99 to cover it. bunq was really quite close to becoming our main bank connection and we only moved away from bunq because our two employers each had a problem with the Dutch IBAN and it wasn't worth the hassle to us.

    With the new account models, I honestly don't really know anymore whether 8.99+2.99 is enough or whether it really has to be 8.99+8.99.

      @Michael-ERL#276681 You need at least Easy Bank to share accounts. So two Easy Bank (€2,99) accounts is enough to share one Joint account with each other.

      You can easily see which feature is part of what plan on https://bunq.com/benefits/

        @thijsoost#276682 Thanks for your answer. I know the site, it is basically a very good comparison of account plans. what I am missing, however, is a (clear) answer if, starting from an Easy Money plan, I can share more than one account with an Easy Bank customer.

        My account would be an Easy Money and I would like to have a joint account with my wife (Easy Bank). That would work, no question.
        But could I then share other sub-accounts? for example vacation account, fun account, savings accounts for the kids? Or would it be possible to have more than one joint account?

        looking at the shared access page i can interpret that out. but clearly i haven't read it yet.

        probably I'm just missing something or do not understand it, sorry :) with the "old" joint account was all possible.

          @Michael-ERL#276684 There's a different between Joint accounts (both owners own the money) and the Connect feature (only the owner of the sub-account owns the money - legally - but the other user is able to access the money).

          Easy Bank supports only one Joint account. However, Easy Bank can accept multiple Connect invites, sent by an Easy Money/Green subscription.

          Hope that clears things up!

            @thijsoost#276685 ah, thank you. πŸ‘πŸ»

              I do agree as said in 2022 -> in The Netherlands is a high fee to pay 2 Easy Money accounts to have a fully fledged joint Bunq account with all the features. So 2 x 8,99 = 17,98 to have a "real dutch en/of" banking account?
              Am I missing something? Or is this true?
              Because I can't have all the features for my wife with my Easy Money and her Easy Bank account right?

                @Mersed-Orange-Panda#288572 2 Γ— €2,99/month, because Easy Bank already supports 1 Joint account (en/of) and 1 Joint savings account.

                  @Mersed-Orange-Panda#288572 Hey there, Mersed πŸ‘‹

                  Thijs is right! You and your wife can set up a Joint Account with your current plans πŸ™Œ You can check out exactly how to go about it, here 🌈

                    I have a shared account but occasionally run into issues abroad when trying to use this IBAN when paying (f.i. taxes) because the second person is not recognized as legal owner of the account. Since I have had to contact a number of companies to change my details and use the account number to my Bunq number before running in the previous described issue I would like to change my account in a joined account. Is there any way I can create this joint account and keep the same IBAN number.

                      9 months later

                      Exactly what @Karine said. I want 1 joined account and have access to that account from both smartphones. Including 2 bank cards, internet banking and multiple savings accounts. How simple can it be? At ING this cost 4,55/mo, with bunq at least 5,98. But more importantly: bunq needs to add the option to change a personal banking account into a total joint one (incl 2 names and legal ownership) and vice versa. That's no problem with the 'ancient' banks! So why not at bunq?
