• Stripe NOK payouts to Local currency account

I'm trying to my "Norway account" IBAN number in order to get my payments from the stripe since (payments are in Norwegian kronor)
but when entering the IBAN this is what stripe says "The account number is valid, but the associated bank is not known to accommodate SEPA routing."

whats the meaning of this , what should I do now

@New-Champagne-Raven-3513378857#239907 The local currency accounts that bunq offers don't support incoming SEPA payments, only SWIFT. Only the Euro accounts offered by bunq can receive SEPA transfers (in Euro, that is). Not sure what Stripe's policy is there, but you might want to check with them.

@Jakob-Y#239921 thank you for your answer

I entered my euro account info! - in order to receive the payments, I do not know what else to do!!! but now as you say payments will not sit in the account since payments come in different currencies?

@New-Champagne-Raven-3513378857#239929 The Euro account can only receive Euro payment (both through SEPA and SWIFT), the accounts in other currencies can always only receive payments in their respective currency (through SWIFT network or in case of GBP account, also domestic payment networks). If a payment comes in that bunq cannot accept, it should get automatically bounced back to the sender.

Stripe states on their help page that NOK payouts can be only made to bank accounts in Norway. The local currency accounts at bunq are located in the United Kingdom. They do state that they can make EUR payouts to Dutch accounts, so Euro payouts from Stripe should work, but not NOK payouts, as they seem to require a Norwegian bank account.

Jakob changed the title to Stripe NOK payouts to Local currency account.
