Freezing Sub account/savings account for a short/long period of time.

Hey Guys,

So i came on this idea cause a lot of bunqers are overspending, i think it would be cool if Bunq would add a feature to freeze an sub account/ savings account for a period you chose, you can send money to that account only you cant withdraw money from it untill the period you chose is over!

What you think??

Maybe would be good, instead of “freezing” temporary an account, to use a long term investment supplier the sort of Birdee but just for time bound investments which would “freeze” the availability of funds and provide also a return.

Usually long term vincolate investment have a guaranteed return (very low) and no risk… better than just freezing 🥶
For emergency unlocking an early dis investment fee would do the trick 😃

Das hat alles mit Disziplin zu tun.
Solch eine Lösung wäre aber durchaus interessant.
Aber was macht man im Notfall ?

I think this is legally impossible, reckon you’ll just need to discipline yourself a bit and not touch the account for the amount of time you decided on 🤷🏼‍♂️

Well their are some people like me who just want to save some money, then when i go shopping and see cool stuff, i just think let me take it out of the savings, and then later i realise it, it would just be so great to have a savings account thats like withdrawals blocked until some time of period, like example i say until 1 October and until 1 October I can’t do withdrawals that would be so good!

A.F.Guman | YG Entertainment I found that the simple fact of having to transfer money back and forth is enough of a pause too make me think if I really want to make the purchase. Linking cards to lowly funded subaccounts does the trick for me actually as do percentage displays instead of funds in my savings. If I really need something, I will still purchase it, yet not on every whim.
