  • How do I transfer to a US bank account?

I used to be able to transfer euros from my bunq accounts to dollars in my US bank account via the integration with transfer wise. That integration seems to be gone now. Bunq wants to me to create a US dollar account and do the conversion for me. I don’t really want that, I just need to get money over to my US account. How do I do that now? Do I have to create a US dollar account, transfer the money internally in bunq, and then I can transfer it out?

    @James-Orange-Lynx#243099 Just click on the button „Currency not listed? Use Wise!“ (even though USD is listed). Then it‘ll work exactly as before.

        Can anyone share where I would inititate this kind of transfer in the app? Unclear where to even start to transfer from my bunq to a US bank account.

          1. Open the bunq app and tap the orange Pay button
          2. Choose "Change currency" and tap the blue option at the bottom: "Use Wise"
          3. Choose American Dollar (USD)

          Then just follow the flow by entering the amount and filling in the details of the recipient.

            But I don’t see the “Use Wise” button anymore. It just lists a bunch of currencies. And at the top there is the category with “Currencies you hold”. At the bottom it says “Make a one time transfer”.

              @swvanderlaan#296493 Wise is no longer available in the bunq app (this is a two years old thread). You can now use the "Make a one time transfer" button
