I started a job recently as a waitress and needed to provide a dutch bank account to be paid into. Is bunq an acceptable account to use for salary income?
cheers

@New-White-Hamster-3744555872#244460 Sure! bunq is a normal Dutch bank with a banking licence.
@New-White-Hamster-3744555872#244460 Hey Laura! đź‘‹ Yes, you can use your bunq account to receive your salary. We are an official Dutch bank, you can submit your account number to your employer and get paid on it without any issues!
You can use bunq like every other bank account for your salary. I’m using bunq for nearly a year to get my salary. Never had any issues and it’s super useful to sort your income to different subaccounts!
Here’s some knowledge about that:

Thanks for the response guys! Super helpful. However, I have just been informed that some of my co workers have been paid already today. Is there a delay in getting payments from bunq sometimes, compared with other bank branches?
Cheers!
@New-White-Hamster-3744555872#244468 A SEPA transfer can take up to 1-2 business days. Bunq handles all outgoing transactions as instant transfers. The incoming transaction depends on the bank which made the transaction of your salary, it usually it doesn’t take longer than 1-2 business days for me.
