It‘s officially a credit card because the money is yours until the monthly payment day and you will still receive interest on it. However, bunq does not allow you to spend any money that might be needed to make the monthly payment and presents everything to you as if the card would be a debit card. That way you can never „spend money twice“ or fall into debt, as they say.

@Stefan-Olive-Hummingbird#245411 The deposit itself is shown as a regular payment (and later as a refund when it gets returned). You will always only see the money in your account that is still usable as a balance. The actual balance that you receive interest on is not prominently shown anywhere in the app, but you could always calculate it yourself by checking your bank statement. Therefore, the credit card really acts completely like a debit card would for you. Only in the internal background systems, it is treated like a regular credit card.

@Yakeisha-Olive-Leopard#288116 Is de pas gedeactiveerd of geblokkeerd? Een gedeactiveerde kaart kan je weer activeren (open de pas vanaf de Home pagina en tik op "Activeren), maar een geblokkeerde kaart is permanent geblokkeerd. Je zult bij een geblokkeerde pas een nieuwe pas moeten aanschaffen.
