  • Why is the CEO of Bunq at the World Economic Forum?

Im curious why Ali attended the WEF (world economic forum) conference at Davos. The WEF is not related to freedom and independence. Their slogan is, you’ll own nothing and be happy. So what was his motivation to join it? In what way will Bunq benefit from him being there?

And will he ever consider becoming a member?

In the TV programme Op1, he says that he was invited. He thought "It seems like such a circus, I would like to experience that once". He describes it as partly ordinary congress, but also interesting lectures and finding like-minded people. You can talk to entrepreneurs from all over the world. I don't think he was necessarily there in his role as CEO of bunq (as he is also CEO of TransIP). I think he was there as an entrepreneur in general.

@Karan-Golden-Tiger#247560 You know what this means? “Artificial happiness”.
