Account still in “verifying your documents “

I created an account last week. I added my residence card and then my BSN. I was then told my documents would be reviewed and I'd hear back in 4 hours. It's been a few days now and it's still pending review. Does it always happen like this or its just mine?

Roman At the moment a lot of new users are signing up for bunq. How fast your account is verified depends on the readability of your identity card, the quality of your videos and how busy it is at bunq support. I see multiple users having to wait 1-2 weeks, so I guess the only thing you can do now is wait (im)patiently

It’s been a month since I signed up for Bunq and still reviewing my documents. I want to get my family signed up as well. Will they have to wait as long?

Peter For the overwhelming majority of people signing up, they get automatically verified in a few minutes. Only a small fraction of new users need to get verified manually, mostly this takes a few business days. In exceptional cases, more checks might be needed that could make the process a little bit longer. In general, this is nothing that we here on the community forum can predict in any way.

Kamiloqbc My guess is that it's busy at bunq. They have 67 open vacancies on their website, it looks like they need more employees to lower the waiting times
