  • why Amazon payments always get rejected ?

some went through then suddenly rejected again..it's Amazon! 100% safe , why you reject it?

@mike123#248734 Never had that happen to me. What‘s the error shown with the failed payments? Maybe you have rotating CVC enabled and Amazon is using an incorrect one? Or something else… in any case the event in the bunq app should tell you exactly why a payment was rejected 👍

Even if the merchant is safe in general, if for example the daily limit that you set has been reached or some other details aren‘t correct, the payment will and should be getting rejected.

@mike123#248734 "Always rejected"? Never has an Amazon payment been rejected for me

worked. was error in expiry..once before it got rejected and said i should allow this merchant on the transaction due to 3d secure rejection

@thijsoost#248742 Habe auch noch keine einzige Ablehnung bei Amazon gehabt. Nutze immer eine Digicard.

Today suddenly an Amazon payment was rejected "as the merchant is not using the latest security standards", then I could add Amazon manually w or w/o Limit per payment or month. Anyways the order at Amazon had failed and to be redone.

The card is unchanged in Amazon since years, valid for years to come (until 2027) and I didn't fiddle around with the setting on the one side or the other …
            ¯_(ツ)_/¯

@New-Burgundy-Springbok-1716008020#295998 Then the issue probably was at Amazon? Although I also ordered something at Amazon yesterday without any issues

Good morning @New-Burgundy-Springbok-1716008020#295998 👋 Thank you for being part of our vibrant community 🌈

We've implemented 3DS2, the new security standard for e-commerce transactions to ensure secure online card payments. If a payment is declined due to 3DS Secure Authentication failure, you can enable Auto Accept for the merchant ✅

For more info, feel free to check out this article: I have a failed payment due to 3DS2, now what? 📚

I am REALLY annoyed by this BS detection. My wife and me have enabled "Auto Accept" for Amazon, but still sometimes payments are rejected by bunq. And I don't find the reason for that when opening the payment details. There is only the amount (crossed out) and that's it. Sorry, but I hate it! I am definitely "team security", but if you provide "Auto Accept", then PLEASE do it properly! If Amazon will eventually rate us down because of this, I will blame bunq for that and definitely leave.

@MCS#297701 It's time for Amazon to support 3DS2 I guess
