Petra Ik heb alleen een Maestro Card. Gek want het is wel een travel Card en dan verwacht je juist geen problemen met betalen gedurende een buitenlandse reis. Wat vervelend zeg.
bunq has never had and does not have something called a Maestro Travel Card. There's no such thing. Not sure what you're referring to exactly there. Indeed in the past they have marketed their Mastercard as a Travel Card. Nowadays they mostly just refer to it as the bunq Mastercard, but it is certainly still a great card for travels. The Maestro card however is mainly for Dutch and Belgian users to use in their own country domestically.
Ik had op de community gelezen dat bunqcard ook gebruikt kon worden voor contactloze betaling in londense metro. Dat zal dan met mijn kaart ook niet lukken vrees ik
Even though internationally the Maestro card is not as well accepted as the Mastercard, there might be some acceptance. I'm not completely sure about the UK, but TfL does mention it on their website, so you might be lucky here. It's always better to have Mastercard, though.
