ALEXANDER After you filled in your personal information, took a picture of your Identity card and recorded a video, bunq will verify your account. How long this takes, depends on where you live, the readability of your picture and the quality of the video. This takes anywhere between 5 minutes and ±2 weeks. You'll be notified once your account is verified!

I’d made a video confirmation, it’s ok. i sent to you all the documents. But it’s not 5 minutes, it’s very very long

ALEXANDER The 5 minutes doesn't refer to bunq verifying your account, but to you entering all your information, taking the picture and recording the video.

At bunq you're at least able to open an account online, without having to go to a physical office somewhere! Bunq is an official bank, so all information should be correct before you're allowed to open an account.

Please be patient while bunq verifies your information, you'll be notified once your account is ready to use!
