  • How to search in the community? (also weird topics to choose from)

I'm not that bad with IT stuff but this app is making me feel like a boomer. How do I search a certain topic in the community? I do not want to reach out to support for small questions forsome deity only knows how long they will take to reply.

      @Ellen994#251493 Hey 👋 right now there is no possibility to search for old posts in the App as far as I know 😅but you can always use the web version and the search function there.

          @Ellen994#251502 I think because the community tab is relative new in this form in the App ( since bunq 20) there will be one or the other improvements made in the future. I think this is the typical way a lot of start ups work, release things fast and then work on them with the customer feedback to improve it. I personally think that’s a good way to work, but of course opinions on this can differ.

            @pqckmqn#251509 Although I do like bunqs features and have been using this bank for a long time now, I do feel like they do not take their users opinions seriously. But that might be just me 😅
            I do know how startups work, but I feel like bunq should've moved past that whole fintech hipster startup identity now. They're a bank, and no, not a regular bank, but they are a bank. That means that their users or clients should be able to trust them. I do not do so.

              Not sure which “show” you refer to. I am personally very happy about bunq services.
              It is definitely a banking App packed full with features and gadgets which might need some thinking sometimes.
              Basic user though should have no issues once understood the different approach compared to traditional banks.
              Most common confusion I think is with what is an account (your over all access to bunq services) and sub accounts (the effectively bank account which holds the money and holds an IBAN number).
              I came from ING where account and sub account are the same and there is no concept of multiple IBANs.
              A bit expensive… maybe 🤔, but I am personally good with paying extra sometimes for cutting edge top tech.

                @Gianguig#251513 bunq ist bei den Begriffen inkonsequent:
                Mitgliedschaft wird oft als Konto bezeichnet.
                Konto ist IBAN und wird oft als Unterkonto angesprochen.
                Dies ist aber bereits seit Jahren Thema und wird sich erst ändern, wenn bunq Personal freistellt um die Dokumentation über alle Sprache anzupassen.

                  @Ellen994#251512 Puh, hard words. I can only recommend to search for alternatives if you don’t trust bunq anymore. Trust is the fundament of a (banking) relationship.

                  In my feeling bunq is very keen on listening to its users. The community part is showing that a lot in my opinion. I for example, know no bank which adds features the customers wish for in the community. And to keep the „startup“ way is one way to be more flexible than the competition. But just like I said, I guess you have to like this way of working.
