which error do you or the vendor get?
Is your bunq account fully working?
Are you trying to pay via Credit card or via direct debit?
For the Credit Card some vendors have issues with 3D verifications (Apple is one of those). This issue is not linked to bunq but the vendor.
Additionally, if you pay with a bunq Credit Card you need to ensure there are sufficient funds on your linked sub-account when the charges hit your card.
For direct debit, yo need to ensure you provided the correct sub-account IBAN.
