Hi @Jacob-Silver-Shark#145092
Besides bunq not being part of the Dutch Instant Payment system or the Dutch Banks and Instant Payment system not being connected to the EU Instant Payment system there's not much bunq can do to speed up these regular SEPA transfers. There are certain cycles managed by the European interbank system which works with time slots. It's not like a transfer always takes a certain amount of time but it could be processed within either 30 minutes or 5 hours depending on the time slots and speed of the sending bank supplying it to the system (bunq does this immediately btw). These batches of payments are always processed from monday to friday between 7:00 and 18:00. Usually transfers are processed around 8:00 - 10:00 - 12:30 - 15:00 - 16:30 and 18:00. I have to say my experience with Volksbank banks is that it takes at least 1 time slot extra compared to other banks before it arrives in my account.
If you wish to send money instantly between Dutch bank accounts you might as well use payment requests through iDEAL. Those are always processed immediately as they are guaranteed for the bank.
