Adobe, Apple, Spotify and Netflix all accept Bunq Mastercard Creditcard, Amazon doesn't. Is there a workaround?

Hi π,
I have used my personal bunq Master Card Credit Card with Amazon NL (and also DE and IT) with no issue at all but... on other vendors like Apple in NL I had same issue.. the card would not get validated and could not add it to the account or would fail afterwards when executing payments.
I contacted the vendor, as I could use the card elsewhere on line, and they confirmed they had issues with 3D verification, which is the latest Credit Cards validations.. and manually they managed to add the card to my account and since then no problems.
Could be also that Amazon has problems with Personal address using a Business card.. but I would find it very strange.
I wish you all the best luck π and hopefully happy Amazon Prime day π
Regards
GG
Hi Paul π,
I just deleted my bunq MasterCard from my Amazon.NL account and tried to re add it.. and it is not working now π
I get error that card is not accepted... weirdly enough.. it is the same card deleted that I used in the past. I tried with one of the digital credit cards.. same issue.
At this point I contacted Amazon via their services and waiting for confirmation or suggestion on how to proceed.
Luckily... if you are in NL.. you can execute the payment with iDeal in the meantime.

Hi Paul and @thijsoost#253507 π,
FIXED... the issue is with Amazon.NL.
I called them up and explained what was the issue (Master Card Credit Card fully working and used in the past but not getting accepted any more when adding it to the account wallet).
Turns out A LOT of customers are currently having this issue from The Netherlands and they are working to fix the bug which is on their form ... there is a Java snippet that checks CC number validity from a formal point of view and it is badly coded.
The work around for now is to log to Amazon via their German website (amazon.de) with your usual credentials you would use for the Dutch website.. and then get to your Account and add your credit card from the German gateway.
As your account is valid for any Amazon localized Amazon store and is unique and shared across different countries, when you log in from the NL site you will see your active Master Card CC just added.
WORKED.... not a German speaker here but it is fairly "close" to Dutch β
Not a bunq π issue then but just bug πat Amazon side.
Have a GREAT Prime Day shopping spread π€©
Regards
GG
