Safekeeping fee and Easy Investments

HI 🙌 there,
it is great that bunq updated the Safekeeping limits to a whopping 1.000.000 Euro limit to start charging Safekeeping fees... which I imagine due to the very recent ECB rates increases might change further.

I can not find mentioned in any support document.
Would anyone know if the amount invested in the Easy Investment account (Beta) contributes to the total amount considered for Safekeeping fee?

I would think it should not, as Easy Investments account is not held by bunq but by Birdee, and all the safekeeping and fund insurance is with them not with bunq.

I am not really worried to hit the limit unfortunately 🥹 but would be good to know and in my opinion should also be mentioned on the Safekeeping knowledge doc and the Easy Investments one.

Indeed, good observation.

In short, money deposited into Birdee through your Easy Investments account will not count towards your safekeeping fee total.

I will make sure this gets added to the FAQs as well! 😊

ING Deutschland hat das Verwahrentgeld ab 1.8.22 komplett gestrichen. Es gibt keine Betragsgrenze auf dem Girokonto mehr.

I am expecting this to happen all over EU soon given what the ECB did yesterday and plans to do again very soon to try to lower inflation.
Interest rates to banks customers should increase a bit also soon.
