Pls I need a Routine number
Pls I need Routine number...

Hi π,
I believe you ask for ROUTING number.
There are no routing number at bunq. All you need to get a payment executed is the IBAN or additionally the BIC/SWIFT number.
You can get all these information by opening the sub account you need by tapping on its type in the main tab in the App and then once the view is open tap on the IBAN number on the top and you get the complete IBAN and BIC/SWIFT you can copy.
I hope it helps π

@New-Apricot-Raven-3937890716#256122 Hi! Routing numbers are only used in the US. Therefore, you can only see your routing number when you open a USD sub-account if I'm not mistaken, more info here. Within Europe you can transfer money using IBANs.

Hi π,
there is no routing number for the USD account either as it is not an US account.. it is still a GB one.
The only routing somehow connected to bunq accounts is when you get a payment form the US via Wise to the Wise's account which is a US one. But in this case the information need to be pulled form Wise App.

@Gianguig#256127 Ah, that's true! I thought I read it somewhere, but it probably was about a GB account then. Thanks for your info!
EDIT: Ah, so I was right! Haha

@Gianguig#256127 The USD accounts now also have routing numbers. I found out when I created a new one. Very cool! Older USD local currency accounts might not show them yet, but maybe asking support can help so they can tell you your corresponding account and routing number manually.
Not sure if that's what OP was asking about but yeah, for me personally this is a great new addition for receiving domestic ACH transfers from US banks.

@Jakob-Y#256136 Hi π,
That is cool, but I still do not understand how and ACH transfer can be done if the account is not a US based one, unless that changed also and now it is a real US based account. In theory to get any USD transfer to the USD account (GB IBAN) you need to use SWIFT.
Good to get this clarified maybe.
Thank you for info. I will che I with bunq support as I do not have the info on routing available⦠I open USD account already last year as soon it was announced.
Thank you π

@Gianguig#256146 It works just as with Wise. You get a virtual account at Community Federal Savings Bank and incoming transfers are credited to your account. Afterwards you can use the money just as you want, even spend it directly from your card. This now actually will save me quite a bit on transaction costs because I don't have to do currency exchange anymore. Incoming transfers are also quite cheap in comparison to SWIFT.
Yes hope bunq support can help you. Feel free to check back in here if it worked for you or not.

HI @Jakob-Y#256150 (+ @thijsoost#256125 and @New-Apricot-Raven-3937890716#256122 ),
this is the answer I received from bunq support:
"Hello ,
I am here to help you.
The ACH routing number for USD accounts isnβt yet available, but we plan to offer it soon! π
You can find more info about the Local Currency feature on this page π https://together.bunq.com/d/48907
We should ask you to keep an eye on our Together page to be always updated with our last features π https://together.bunq.com/
Thank you for the collaboration, I wish you a nice day ahead "
So it looks you might have access to some "beta" features not released yet π
I wonder though, if the local US bank accounts are released, how it will work with transfers TO these accounts... being US based it would involve a SWIFT transfer to this account from bunq SEPA accounts, unless these new USD accounts get also an IBAN which would make transfers form other bunq sub account business as usual.. kind of a "mini Wise" system embedded?
So.. for now no ROUTING.. only possible option is to use Wise if the routing number is needed.. or then just execute a SWIFT payment.

@Gianguig#256159 Well, the support told me something different. I guess you could always just create a new USD sub-account and test for yourself. Maybe what they mean is that they haven't yet had the chance to add the domestic banking information to all currently existing USD accounts.
eing US based it would involve a SWIFT transfer to this account from bunq SEPA accounts
They're not US-based. It's still the same as before, you just get additional US domestic banking details. The money is ultimately still stored with CurrencyCloud in the UK.
Thanks for reporting :)

Ahhh⦠Support is not up to date.
I open a new sub account in USD and I got all the additional US data (Routing and Bank Code) π
cheers π

So after having high exchange fees, someone can confirm that payments arrive if i put the routing number, account number and the BIC as Swift/Branch number?
