Where can I do cash deposits because so far all places that was recommended have no Idea what I am talking about.

    @New-Jade-Oryx-3242561585#256914 Hi! I'm guessing you're talking about Paysafecash locations? Unfortunately, Paysafecash indeed doesn't work well.

    Only way to deposit cash money at bunq is via Viacash in Germany, Austria and Italy. Other solution is to ask someone you trust to deposit the money for you at a traditional bank, and send the money to you.

    Last solution would be going to a GWK Travelex location, but they ask high fees.

      @thijsoost#256916 Then that's false advertisement

        @New-Jade-Oryx-3242561585#256918 Well, not really. The shops you went to have a contract with Paysafecash. So if you're going to one of the shops and they refuse to accept your cash money to deposit it, the shops are violating their contract with Paysafecash.

        This is an issue between Paysafecash and their locations, not something bunq can fix.

          They were all telling me they don't know why their stores are showing up on the list because they don't know anything about it

            @New-Jade-Oryx-3242561585#256923 Then the shops should contact Paysafecash to get their name off the list.

              Three is another issue here...

              I tried Paysafe for the first time to see how it worked. I thought I would try it with €10. Unfortunately, after going to multiple shops... the minimum they process is €25.

              So I tried to use the BUNQ app and have them scan my bar code. They told me they don't know anything about that and in the end gave me a receipt with a PIN code.

              After creating a Paysafe account, I added my €25 using the receipt with the PIN code I was given.

              I successfully added €25 credit to my new Paysafe account, thinking I would transfer it back to my account for free.

              Two hours later I learned the only way you can transfer to a bank account is to first verify the account with them... and then go outside of their app and use their website to initiate the transfer. You are then given a status back in the app πŸ™„.

              Did I mention the transfer cost €7.50?

              So my test with Paysafe cost more than 2 hours of my time and reduced my €25 to €17.50.

              I do like the scan barcode feature within the BUNQ app (assuming the cash deposit is then immediately available at no additional cost)... but the shops do not seem to be aware of this feature. 🫠

                Oh... I forgot to mention that the transfer back into my account takes 2-3 business days!

                  @Paul-Trefonas#256931 Hi Paul,

                  PaysafeCash and PaysafeCard are two different things. We only work with PaysafeCash! The first €100 you deposit are free, and then it comes with a 2.5% fee

                  Using Paysafe Card, you'll get a PIN that you will be able to add to your PaysafeCard account (as you described), and then transfer that to your bunq account (paying excessive fees)

                  It's best to make sure that the store employee knows the difference and that you get the correct one!

                    @Paul-Trefonas#256930 Seems like you bought a Paysafecard instead as Vitaly mentioned. But it's good to know that this actually can work, even if it has excessive fees (at that point, you probably rather want to go to Travelex). The "Paysafecash" button should be right next to the "Paysafecard" button on the merchant's terminal.

                    One question if you don't mind: Did they just say that they don't know anything about it and refused to try it out, or did they actually try to scan your barcode?
