I have an idea 💡 which I’ve recently read about and I wonder if this is something that people would like and/or if it is even possible to do.

I am one of the persons that likes to have multiple bank accounts so I can be flexible and have a good overview of my recurring monthly payments and the money that’s available to be spent “free”. That’s why I have a bank account in Germany 🇩🇪 and one in Netherlands 🇳🇱 with bunq.

Now what bugs me is that I always have to carry around lots of cards since mobile payment isn’t really a thing in Germany yet. So if I want to pay from my German bank account I need to carry two cards with me my girocard and my MasterCard credit card. If I want to pay with bunq I need to carry that card around with me as well.

One feature that i always loved about bunq is being able to have two accounts connected to one account. The dual pin function is really awesome. 👏

Now I was wondering if by any chance it would be possible o introduce a feature that allows us the users to connect our “other non bunq” bank account or credit card 💳 with our bunq account. Like with the dual pin you could be able then to connect a third account to one of your bunq cards. But instead of connecting another bunq account you would be able to connect your “non bunq” credit card or bank account and bunq would then withdraw the money via direct debit from said bank account or credit card.

This way people would only have to carry around one card and be able to make payments from whatever account they want no matter if it’s an actual bunq account or for example my German bank account or credit card.

I would really love a feature like this and I’m eager to hear what you guys think about it. 😊
