• Total fees for Travel Card payments abroad?

What are the actual costs for using the Travel Card?

The Travel Card page (https://www.bunq.com/travel-banking) says that there are no extra fees:

"Get the latest conversion rate wherever and whenever you spend. Unlike traditional banks, we don’t believe in charging you extra for non-Euro payments. Order your bunq Card and save 3% on card payments abroad."

But the pricing PDF (https://uploads-ssl.webflow.com/626045a016f5876d0cf83a9f/62cc001e612809251ae52a63_20220711_consumers_business_pricing_EN.pdf) says the following under Easy Bank Personal:

"Card payment (in a foreign currency): 1,5% of the transaction amount + 0,5 (network fee)"

So which is it?

Thanks

    Just add this part behind that sentence: "That is, unless you use one of our cheaper plans. And only as long as you don't consider a 0.5% network fee to actually be a fee at all." Then it makes sense.

    The card itself has no fixed fee, it always depends on the plan. Easy Money/Easy Green pay "only" the network fee of 0.5% and Easy Bank members pay an additional 1.5% fee on top of that.

      @New-Bronze-Parrot-1732455648#257611 Hey there 👋
      "Get the latest conversion rate wherever and whenever you spend. Unlike traditional banks, we don’t believe in charging you extra for non-Euro payments. Order your bunq Card and save 3% on card payments abroad." > this applies to ZeroFX which is not available for Easy Bank, only Easy Money and Easy Green.

        Thanks for the clarification!

        In the end I think my traditional bank's 2% credit card exchange rate fee is cheaper for me than paying a fixed €8,99 a month for the Bunq Easy Money account.

          @New-Bronze-Parrot-1732455648#257696 Of course it's cheaper if you already have a different bank account. And of course the €8,99 is not only for payments abroad but gives you many more features.
