Jafeth If you order a Mastercard, then you get a Mastercard. If you order a Maestro card, then you get a Maestro card. The app even tells you on the order screen that Maestro cards are preferably used in The Netherlands and Belgium. I personally don't see why you would be entitled for a refund in case you order something that you later decide to not need. But this is the public community forum, so here you're not communicating with bunq employees anyway. If you're looking to discuss a refund, they're the ones you should be talking to.
The usage of Apple Pay is completely unrelated here. For card acceptance it does not matter if you're using a plastic card or a card inside your mobile device. The only relevant thing is what card network (Mastercard or Maestro) the card is connected to.
