  • German IBAN Problems with Pax-Bank

A colleague recently had some trouble transferring money to my German Bunq IBAN from Pax-Bank. Has someone else made similar experiences or can report that Pax-Bank accepts the Bunq DE IBAN?

    @New-Lime-Zebra-Berlin#261127 Unfortunately, I don't use Pax-Bank so I can't speak from experience.

    But transferring money to any IBAN should be possible. Why was (s)he having difficulties transferring money to you? Did (s)he see an error message? I think it's best that (s)he contacts his/her bank, to ask why the transfer can't be made to bunq.

      It seemed she tried it twice and got the message "IBAN fehlerhaft und ungültig" and the payment was returned. I'm assuming this was not through the web interface of PAX Bank but rather some HBCI interfaces and some sort of bookkeeping application.

        @New-Lime-Zebra-Berlin#261140 Might just be the BLZ of bunq not yet being inside their database (of the bookkeeping application). Ask them to update it.
