Refund for Fraud

I had a fraud in my Mastercard credit card (in USD from a gambling company) , I did the refund request via Mastercard, and finally got a message from Bunq that a return payment has (?) been credited into my account. However it is still not in. + it shows as denied 🤷‍♂️.
I am struggling to contact and have a feedback/response from Bunq.
The story remains as the only message I got is to have patience and wait. Unbelievable.

Luan Diamante Hi! A refund request can take anywhere between 1-12 weeks. This is because, depending on the individual case, different steps may be taken within the process. Indeed the only thing you can do now is wait.

Hi Thijs, yes, I do know and after 12 weeks I had a reply that it was approved my refund request and the merchnat had issued a return payment into my account, however it’s been week now and still not received, also on my account shows the request as denied 🤷‍♂️. Bunq still not gave me a response about it.

Luan Diamante Then you need to contact the merchant about the payment, not bunq. After they've transferred the money, it'll be back on your account within 2 business days.

But it it weird as mentioned before- it it showing the refund request denied, but I got an announcement from Bunq as approved.

Luan Diamante Sorry to hear that! Unfortunately, the community cannot help you with this either. An answer from bunq support should take a few hours to a few days. Please keep your support ticket open and do not close it, you will get a response.

I don’t close the ticket, they incredibly do. Then I need to keep opening a new one. Amazing!
