I opened account in NL why it has German IBAN?

Mammad It normally depends on your home address. If you are a German resident, you will get German IBANs.

If you want IBANs from other countries, that’s also possible. Just choose „Bank like a local“ or „Local IBAN“ feature in the app and choose the country 😊

I am NL resident actually. I have done it my in order to open another account switched to Easy Money plan which I do not want. I need jus one account and one card which has Dutch IBAN

Mammad Certainly. If you‘re a Dutch resident, then you can probably switch your default IBAN country by contacting support 👍

The higher plan feature is only for getting an IBAN from a country which you‘re not a resident of.

Roman If you‘re a Spanish resident and didn‘t get an ES IBAN just contact support. They will be able to rectify it.

Jakob no, me German resident, but i opened acc in Spain, it gave me Spain IBAN, and asked about TiC which in Germany we called Indr.

Roman The German TIN is called „Steuer-IdNr“ which is short for „Identifikationsnummer“ (identification number). Depending on your language setting of the bunq app it will translate TIN accordingly. You need to provide the TIN of all countries where you‘re a tax resident. And by default all your account‘s IBANs will be from the country where you are a permanent resident in (the address you provided in your account). Not sure what happens if you provide an inaccurate address, but if anything is unclear then it‘s best to contact support about it and make sure all your details are in order 👍
