Why I get an invoice of 19€ for additional 25 subaccounts if I have Easy bank account with one joint and one personal account?

    Easy bank only has one account included. I guess the joint account counts as a second one. Bunq charges per 25 extra accounts which is €19.

      @New-Lavender-Goat-2619948523#261922 You answered your own question: you're using a joint and a personal account, which is 2 sub-accounts. But Easy Bank only includes 1 sub-account.

        I have only one personal account and one joint, so it's just one sub account (the joint one)

          @New-Lavender-Goat-2619948523#261928 At bunq there is no „main“ account. Every monetary account/IBAN is called „sub-account“. (Of course you‘re free to call them whatever you want and use them in any way.)

          Therefore one personal account and one Joint would be two sub-accounts in total. However, in my understanding the Easy Bank plan allows for having both a personal and a Joint sub-account without extra charges. Might be the best to ask for clarification from support.

            @Jakob-Y#261930 Yes! Exactly! But when my partner tried to open her first subaccount, she get an invoice of 19€ for 25 additional subaccounts. But she only has the joint account with me and her personal. So it's two each

              I thought that the joint account also counted towards your number of sub-accounts, but I can be wrong. As Jakob suggested, maybe it's best to contact bunq support.

                @New-Lavender-Goat-2619948523#261934 Thats the sad part of bunq. You easily pay for things you dont know at first about it. Bunq should give notifications when things are to be paid additionally for. A pdf pricing list isn't enough.

                  @Marouane-Yellow-Turtle#261946 Agreed! A notification before additional costs would be great.

                    Are the first three lines are read as 1-sub-account AND 1 joint sub-account AND 1 saving [sub]-account or as:
                    1-sub-account OR 1 joint sub-account OR 1 saving [sub]-account

                    How should we understand "1 full bank account"?

                      @New-Lavender-Goat-2619948523#261922
                      Just a check so it can be excluded:
                      Do you have any incoming Connected sub-accounts? (Not even sure if Easy Bank can do this, but it's an sub-account not in your name, but it is connected to your account by invitation of another.
                      Do you have any recently archived sub-account (savings, investment, another personal)?

                      recently = last 60 days.

                        @Joeri-Silver-Lynx#261960 In my understanding:

                        • First three lines are connected with AND
                        • The full bank account is a duplicate of the sub-account from the beginning

                        It‘s nice to have this article about the Easy Bank plan but it needs some clean-up/clarifications at this point.

                        Maybe it should also contain an explanation about what constitutes a „sub-account“ at bunq or at least link to an article that explains it.

                          @Joeri-Silver-Lynx#261961 Easy Bank cannot send out Connect requests to other people. However, with Easy Bank you can accept incoming Connects from people that use Easy Money or Easy Green.

                            @Jakob-Y#261963 Good to know. But if they (Easy Bank users) accept that incoming Connect while they already have 1 sub-account, 1 joint and 1 saving sub-account or closed one recently, they will be automatically charged 19,99 extra, right?

                            And the confusing part in this topic, that the @New-Lavender-Goat-2619948523 seems to be already charged to while he - to be confirmed - only using 2 out of the 3 'slots'*, right?

                            (* if you have a better term🫠😶; I am all ears. )

                              @Joeri-Silver-Lynx#261971 Currently it seems indeed to be confusing. I relayed this as feedback, and hopefully we will get more clarification at some point in regards to the Easy Bank plan.

                              And I gotta be honest here: If I were an Easy Bank plan user right now, I would only open up additional sub-accounts after having someone from support manually review it before to avoid any misunderstandings.

                                @New-Lavender-Goat-2619948523#261934 Did you get this issue resolved? Would you mind sharing?
