  • How to change my german IBAN to dutch IBAN?

Used a German number to create account so I have German IBAN. Now I live in the Netherlands and I cannot use iDeal payment here because of my german IBAN. How can I change this? I will be traveling to Germany next week. Will I be able to change it there? Or do I just have to live with this German IBAN?

@Joa0204#262285 Hi! You can't "change" an IBAN, but you can open a new sub-account with a different IBAN. If you go to Home > More > Add sub-account > Local IBAN, you'll be able to open a Dutch IBAN sub-account.

Keep in mind that you need the Easy Green or Easy Money plan to do this. Easy Bank and Easy Savings don't have access to Local IBANs.

By the way, you don't have a German IBAN because you used a German number, but because of your address/citizenship.

I ended up with a French main account simply because I was passing through France when setting up my account. Now that registers as my main account. Would love to delete that account though and use the Dutch sub-account as my main. Is this possible?

@New-Mandarin-Coyote-427450098#262288 Of course! Just open the sub-account from the Home page, tap the settings icon in the top right corner (⚙️) and tap "Close subaccount".

At bunq, there's no "main account". All sub-accounts are equal.
