Alessandro Hi! If you're paying somewhere abroad in a different currency or you're using an ATM, you can often choose between:
- A) Letting your bank (bunq) do the conversion
- B) Let the terminal/ATM do the conversion
Choose option A: bunq only asks a 0.5% fee on converting currencies, where other banks often ask ±3%.
If you're in a country that has as different currency than your bunq accounts, you can choose between showing your money in Euro's, or showing it in the currency of the country you're in. You can find a toggle in the settings for this ("Show local currency").
