Text of credit card mired to Apple Pay or Google Pay

It would be great if the Text e.q. „Marco Main“ would appear on my iWatch und my iPhone when opening the credit card in Apple Pay.

Marco Unfortunately, Apple Pay - as far as I know - doesn't support card descriptions. Google Pay does support this, but if I try to add a card desciption in the Google Wallet app, I get a "Oops, something went wrong" error.

Thijs I looks like this error may depend on the card issuer, since I successfully added an alias to my DKB Visa credit card a few minutes ago. But it fails for bunq MasterCards and Hanseatic Bank Visa credit cards as well.
But this feature is bit nonsense anyway, since your alias is only displayed when you open your card's details manually.

Dennis True! Fortunately I've only added two Maestro cards and one Metal Card to Google Pay, and I can easily recognise them using the coloured lines at the top (and the Metal card is displayed as white).

Dennis Image you have 12 virtual credits cards on your iWatch/iPhone …I think it would be a great help having the individuell description straight away…on the other hand, bunq currently unfortunately supports about 5-6 colors to distinguish the credit cards :-(

Marco Why would you use that many (Digi)cards on your watch? I only use 3.

Marco Most other bank aren't even offering those colors to distinguish your cards. 😉 As others and myself already said, bunq is NOT able to offer such a feature as long as it NOT supported by Apple and/or Google. 🙄

Thijs You are right. You see only 3 in the screenshot. In real life and after have setup bunq complete (I am new) I have got 9 cards for accounts I use more or less daily. These are Main, Clothes, Glossary, Car, House, MyCompany, Restaurants, Emergency Cash and one as a kind of jumper card for my other 14 accounts which I use not that often…

Marco Oh I wasn't talking about your screenshot (I'm using the Together website and not the app, so I didn't even see your screenshot). I said that I, myself, only use three cards 😉
